Called to Care.
Living with Purpose. Loving with JOI.
At JOI at Home Senior Concierge™, we believe every aging adult deserves to feel seen, valued, and deeply cared for—and every family deserves to feel supported along the way.
JOI was created from a calling to serve, a heart for families, and a belief that every stage of life still holds purpose.
Hi, I’m Kanikashani — but you can call me Kanika.
Caregiving is not just what I do, it’s who I’ve been called to be.
From a young age, I’ve been drawn to serve aging adults with compassion, creativity, and a heart that sees beyond diagnosis or decline. I’ve learned that sometimes care means stepping in during life’s most difficult moments, and other times it simply means being present, listening, encouraging, sharing a laugh, or offering the quiet reassurance that no one should ever walk this journey alone.
That belief is what inspired me to create JOI at Home Senior Concierge™.
My experience is supported by advanced dementia and memory care training through Johns Hopkins University, along with my certification as a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP).
My training has strengthened my knowledge, but it is my calling to serve that continues to guide every relationship I build.
My personal motto is simple: to provide the best quality of life until the very last breath.
Whether I’m supporting an older adult, encouraging a caregiver, or walking alongside a family during a season of change, my hope is that every person we serve feels seen, valued, and cared for.
Living with Purpose. Loving with JOI.
