Hi! I’m Kanikashani Massey—but you can call me Kanika.

 

Caregiving is not just what I do—it’s who I’ve been called to be. From a young age, I’ve been drawn to serve older adults with compassion, creativity, and a heart that sees beyond diagnosis or decline. Sometimes that means rescuing—stepping in when things have fallen apart. Other times, it’s simply being present: holding space, offering peace, and restoring dignity. That’s what JOI means to me—Jesus On the Inside—and it’s the foundation of everything I offer. My personal motto and goal, is to provide quality of life until the very last breath.

 

I hold advanced training through Johns Hopkins University and multiple certifications, including as a Senior Lifestyle & Memory Care Specialist and a Certified Dementia Practitioner. But beyond credentials, what truly qualifies me is the calling—the divine responsibility I carry to walk with families and seniors through every season of care.

 

At JOI at Home Senior Concierge, I meet people exactly where they are. While our care is rooted in Christian values, I respectfully welcome all backgrounds with the same grace. My mission is simple:

To offer compassion with dignity, presence with purpose, and peace without judgment.
